This very attractive and well balanced shank was designed by Brian Bell for transitioning a colt from a ring snaffle to a curb bit without too much pressure. Also for a young rider with heavier hands. The correction mouth has tongue relief and adds bar pressure for good control. The port also cues a horse when it rotates off the tongue.

The larger diameter bars softens the control, The port helps cue the horse when the mouthpiece rotates.
