I generally use it on a horse that is solid in his training because of the long shanks. What makes this bit unique is that it has enough control to help you get tight barrel turns and it is very will accepted by horses that may not be used to so much control. There is lots of “give” to this bit with the curved mouthpiece and the gag effect on the shanks.
